IT that works for you. And for everyone.
IT services, software development and digital accessibility for Canadian non-profits and small businesses.
Your team deserves systems that are reliable, secure and simple to use. At MAB IT Solutions, we look after your infrastructure, build your tools, and remove the technology obstacles that slow your organization down.
Expertise grounded in experience: our founder, a blind entrepreneur, designs and tests technology with a screen reader every day, and brings that experience directly to our projects.
Based in Ottawa–Gatineau, we work on-site in the region and remotely across Canada.
Technology that is reliable, secure and accessible
Technology should support your work, not create new problems.
Whether you need to protect your data, modernize your tools, support your employees or make your digital services accessible, we help you make the right decisions and put them in place.
We favour durable solutions, clear communication, and real autonomy for our clients.
A system that keeps attackers out but locks your own staff out is not secure. It does not do the job it is there to do. We treat accessibility as engineering, not decoration. We build it into the architecture from the start, so you never have to pay for expensive fixes later.
Our founder is a blind entrepreneur who uses a screen reader every single day. That lived experience sets our standard. We test every project the way your users actually use it, keyboard only, screen reader on, and we take no shortcuts.
- Concrete technical expertise. From infrastructure to custom software, we work on the systems your organization depends on.
- Accessibility from the design stage. Keyboard navigation, assistive technologies and understandable interfaces are part of our requirements.
- Transparent relationships. Services explained clearly, responsibilities defined, and no unnecessary technical dependence.
- Human support. One point of contact who understands your environment, your constraints and your goals.

Three expertises. One technology partner.
Infrastructure and managed IT
Systems that work, data that is protected, and a team that gets help when it needs it. We support your organization with its computers, cloud services, email, telecommunications, backups and cybersecurity measures: multi-factor authentication, access management, monitoring, team awareness and incident recovery. Fewer outages, predictable costs, and someone to call who already knows your environment, on a monthly plan or on demand.
Software and automation
Your processes are particular. Your tools should be able to adapt to them. We build web and desktop applications, client portals, management tools and integrations that reduce repetitive tasks, eliminate double entry, and make your systems talk to each other.
Digital accessibility
A website or an application should be usable regardless of anyone’s abilities. We carry out accessibility audits against WCAG 2.2, identify the obstacles, recommend prioritized fixes and support their implementation, so your services are usable by more people. Express audit: $1,450. Full audit: $4,950.
Proof, not promises
We fix accessibility problems in Moodle learning platforms so every student can take part. We build online software platforms (SaaS) that multiple organizations use, on accessible foundations. We design custom interfaces that work with keyboards, screen readers, and magnification from the very first sketch.

Who we work with
- Community organizations and non-profits. You serve your community with a small team and no IT department. We become that department: support, reliable systems, and tools your staff and your volunteers can all use, including with assistive technology.
- Small and medium businesses. Your tools do not talk to each other, work gets done twice, and nobody has time to deal with it. We connect what you have, automate what repeats, and build what is missing.
- Organizations facing accessibility requirements. An AODA compliance report to file, a tender that requires accessibility, a site your clients cannot use: we assess, prioritize and fix, with you.
- The public and regulated sector. Departments, banks, telecommunications, airlines: we work there at our published rate for that sector, with the documentation and rigour your requirements demand.
How we work
- Consultation. A free first meeting, with no obligation. You tell us what is slowing you down; we tell you honestly whether we can help.
- Assessment. We look at how the work really happens, in your current systems, before proposing anything.
- Proposal. A clear recommendation, independent of vendors (we take no commissions), with the costs, the trade-offs and what is not included, in writing.
- Implementation. We install, connect and document, in stages you can follow.
- Ongoing support. Your team becomes self-sufficient: training, documentation and support at your pace, as an hour bank or a monthly plan. And if we ever part ways, the full handover is free, within five business days.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work across Canada?
Yes. We are based in Ottawa–Gatineau, where we work on-site and remotely. Everywhere else in Canada, our services are delivered remotely, in English and in French.
Do you offer one-off support, with no ongoing commitment?
Yes. Alongside our monthly plans, we offer one-time projects at a fixed price, set before we start, and a 10-hour IT support bank at $1,495. Our hourly rates are published: $135 for non-profits, $165 for businesses, $195 for the public and regulated sector, taxes extra.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. There are no long-term contracts: our monthly plans carry no long-term commitment, and what is yours, accounts, data, files, documentation, stays yours.
Can you take over our existing systems?
Yes. Taking over is the first step of our process: we document your environment during the first engagement, stabilize what causes recurring irritants, then support you at your pace.
How much does an accessibility audit cost?
The express audit is $1,450: it reviews your most important pages and gives you concrete priorities. The full audit is $4,950: a complete page-by-page technical review with documented findings. AODA compliance report support is $1,950. Every audit is done by hand, by keyboard and by screen reader.
What happens at the first consultation?
It is a free meeting with no obligation. You describe your situation, we look at your needs together, and we propose a concrete next step. We reply to every request within one business day.
Let’s talk about what is slowing you down
A recurring outage? Tools that do not talk to each other? A site that is hard to use? A software project that is no longer moving? Tell us about your situation in a free first meeting. We will look at your needs and propose a concrete next step, with no obligation. We reply within one business day.
